Love playing at pheasant run. The track is nothing too special but it’s always in decent shape and I’m not good enough to be worried about a course not being difficult enough! Tee times are getting higher everywhere but they’re a bit too high here at pheasant run for the course. Probably about $8-$10 overpriced IMO.
It’s a nice course, great holes on all directions. They keep their tee boxes clean and the service is mostly very top notch! Kinda crazy to me that they charge $75 for 18 though. Also the starter is very rude, it’s not that deep man why are you yelling and belittling people on the course?
We golf there once or twice a week all summer and fall. The staff are very friendly and speed of play is excellent! I wish they had a Fall rate like most other courses.
Great shape. Nice greens and pretty tough tee shots. Normally no problems but when We played Yesterday (9-14-21) We were behind a fivesome that made our round 6 hours. The ranger talked to them but never made a difference. This was a five star review before this round.
Let’s start off by saying this course is nowhere near worth $75 to play one round. The course was in decent condition in the carts were in OK condition. If you’re going to charge $75 per round, the cart should have GPS in them be extremely clean and the level of service on the course needs to be much higher. We saw the beverage cart girl when we were on the second Tee box, and did not see her the rest of the round. I even made sure to mention something to the girl at the bar as we started the back nine and still never saw the beverage cart once after the second tee box in the front 9. If you’re going to charge a premium to play your course, you should probably keep it up to a premium standard.
My boy recently competed for the Drive, Chip & Putt contest and placed 1st. Greens were fantastic, rough just the right amount of thickness. Have played here a few times and never had 1 complaint. Give it a try!
No major issues, I love the course. But this is a 40$ (for 18) course at best. You can drive 25 minutes, save 30$ and play a nicer course.
I have played golf here for years in league and take it for granted. 3 nines make every week something new to look at. The greens are pretty straightforward and well maintained. Just enough water to make it interesting. Great place to play.
